About the position

The Marketing and Product Management Associate at Roland Foods will support day-to-day marketing functions while managing our GDSN data pool. This position will play a key role in organizing product assets, managing updates, and supporting the team’s ability to build effective campaigns and customer-facing materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, organization, and enjoys the intersection of data and creative marketing. The Marketing and Product Management Associate will sit on Roland’s Marketing, Creative & Sales Operations team, reporting to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the marketing team with daily operational tasks, including managing swag orders, coordinating influencer and PR mailers, contributing to copywriting projects, and supporting brand awareness efforts.
  • Responsible for owning day-to-day systems management of GDSN platforms, Syndigo, 1 World Sync, and Sysco Supplier Suite, etc.
  • Partner with the creative team to set up new items and update the existing portfolio as needed.
  • Respond to customer-specific requests for product maintenance & data. Own Customer Portal Support and Syndication across various channels and customers such as Sysco, US Foods, and GFS.
  • Manage and Optimize Distributor and Customer GS1/GDSN Scorecards, meeting customer-specific KPIs.
  • Ensure marketing materials reflect the most current product data.
  • Support the Roland Foods social marketing efforts: Help manage the marketing calendar, coordinating internal timelines and deliverables, and scheduling posts.
  • Own and manage all influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Actively engage on our social channels to grow our presence and following.
  • Assist in the development of Roland Foods Marketing Materials: Partner with the creative team to support copywriting needs for marketing collaterals, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Develop original Roland Foods blogs guided by industry research and SEO.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to post recipes, product spotlights, and collections to the Roland Foods website.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a marketing role.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and comfortability working in Excel.
  • Organized & detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and take on diverse marketing tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe or other design programs (i.e., Canva) preferred.
  • Experience with Email programs (i.e., HubSpot) is a plus.
