About the position

The position involves a variety of responsibilities centered around marketing strategy, administrative functions, media management, and website content updates. The candidate will be expected to ideate and execute new marketing test ideas, contribute to discussions related to marketing, and build relationships with experts outside the marketing department. The role also includes managing fundamental marketing programs, distributing marketing materials, supporting branches, and ensuring compliance with marketing needs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for updating website content and complying with the bank's security program.

Responsibilities

  • Ideation and execution of new test ideas
  • Contribution to all discussions related to Marketing, leaning into all areas Marketing supports
  • Building of relationships with experts outside Marketing, to learn how to support the bank from all lenses of the Bank
  • Relentlessly looking for ways to improve processes and increase efficiencies (both operational and cost)
  • Bring in-house from 3rd parties, then manage fundamental Marketing programs, such as Paid Search and Social Media
  • Marketing material (posters, flyers) distribution and management for branches
  • Branch support (branch inquiries)
  • Creating shipping labels for sending marketing materials
  • Event administrative support
  • Understand compliance approval procedure and supports in requesting compliance approval for Marketing needs
  • Record keeping via electronic filing (shared drive)
  • Work with Compliance to route marketing content for approval for print and online deliverables
  • Promotional items management & Invoicing
  • Sponsorship & Donation management & Invoicing
  • Log all budget-related data & update Marketing Budget Tracker
  • Research news articles related to the bank
  • Support 'In the News' emails
  • Contribute to the Content and PR strategy
  • Translate articles/newsletter/customer communications
  • Updating/Editing website content via CMS
  • Updating branch location information when in need via CMS & Yext (i.e. holiday hours, closings)
  • Initiate and manage areas of the website that need optimization and/or you see opportunity for growth
  • Be current and knowledgeable on industry's trend in safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leak, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats
  • Report suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer or Information Security Officer

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred
  • 4-7 years proven experience as a marketing associate, banking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Maintains physical and digital filing systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusion
  • Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations

Benefits

  • Salary range of $69,000.00 - $72,000.00 + bonus + benefits
