Job Description: Marketing Associate
Department:Sales and Marketing
Location:Hawthorne, NY
Purpose:
The marketing associate will provide support to all marketing functions and initiatives including but not limited to market analytics, customer reports and presentations. The role will also be responsible for developing product and company marketing efforts at meetings, trade shows, customer events, etc.
The marketing associate will learn and understand the company?s business and overall goals to be successful and focuses all work efforts on supporting and achieving those goals.
Essential Duties:
+ Extract and organize data from various internal database sources and create presentation to sales team for customer visits
+ Market products and company by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
+ Coordinate to manage product listing and images on company website
+ Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain and Customer Service team to manage product phase out process including customer notifications, timelines and inventory planning
+ Manage trade show efforts for the organization including booth graphics, booth set up, marketing materials promotional materials, etc.
+ Create customized reports and presentations for executive management for monthly, quarterly and annual business review
+ Create product information flyers and other marketing materials for existing and new products; collaborate with Regulatory to ensure all marketing material is compliant
+ Work closely with sales team to manage customer trade shows and all marketing material required for the event
+ Perform data driven analysis and modeling across various aspects of the business and provide actionable items to management
+ Consult to develop strategies and tactics that support and enhance competitive advantage, commercialization of products and customer satisfaction
+ Work closely with industry leading news magazines to publish company and product promotional material
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in company.
+ Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to produce results with a high degree of accuracy
+ Extremely detail oriented
Other Qualifications:
+ Experience with generic pharmaceuticals preferred.
+ Healthcare background with understanding of the pharmaceutical business - a plus
+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
+ Ability to interpret detailed data and develop accurate, meaningful and reliable reports for management.
Personal Skills:
+ Organized and ability to follow up is crucial
+ Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as with other team members
+ Responsible to support manager and/or team tasks whenever needed
+ Managing multiple tasks effectively and independently along with prioritizing according to the business needs
+ Highly committed person that displays a strong sense of ownership for work and relies on self to develop and deliver results.
+ Demonstrate out of the box thinking and provide solutions to support unique needs
+ Complete tasks and manage deadlines according to schedule.
Education:
College degree in business administration; preferably in Marketing
