Marketing Communications Assistant - Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing nonprofit outreach events, fundraising pop-ups, and community activations
• Represent well-known nonprofit organizations at in-person campaigns and awareness events
• Engage with the public to share nonprofit missions and inspire donations
• Build authentic connections with community members and local supporters
• Support event logistics, campaign operations, and performance tracking
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities

Requirements

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Friendly, outgoing, and confident in one-on-one and group communication
• Passionate about nonprofit work, community engagement, or social causes
• Comfortable in public-facing, fast-paced settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Local travel required for events (transportation support may be available)

Nice-to-haves

• Background in retail, hospitality, customer service, or events is a plus—but not required
