About the position

The Marketing Communications Specialist supports various internal and external communications responsibilities for IMMY including print, email, website, social media, and other marketing and advertising medium. Developing clear, relevant, and on-message communication will help aid content generation and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and development of communications strategies
  • Participate in multiple strategic teams to ensure alignment and support of communications priorities
  • Initiate and monitor design projects with graphic design
  • Coordinate product marketing material planning and development
  • Plan and manage social media accounts, tone-of-voice, and brand awareness efforts
  • Maintain website content to ensure all communication is up-to-date and relevant
  • Develop, review, and approve externally facing marketing materials
  • Assist in the development of press releases, presentation slide decks, media articles
  • Ensure robust alignment and integration of consistent, on-brand communications strategies and resource
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in Marketing Communications and Brand Development
  • Communications or Public Relations degree or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in building clear, compelling value propositions that can be expressed in a variety of media
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic that drives outcomes
  • Exceptional strategic thinker and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite and design software (InDesign, Adobe CS, etc.)
  • Positive 'can do' attitude – passionate and able to show commitment and to inspire others
