Environmental Specialties designs and manufactures a diverse product line of controlled walk-in and reach-in environmental chambers suited for an array of applications across multiple industries. Environmental Specialties is seeking a Marketing Content Creator who will write copy for web content, email campaigns, and other marketing activities for publication, focusing on producing high quality content that ensures engagement and brand consistency. This role is onsite and based out of our Raleigh, NC office.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly content, including case studies of active projects, noteworthy accomplishments, and employee features.
• Create captivating and engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including prospects, customers and employees delivered across external and internal communications channels, and contributing to a strong brand presence across multiple platforms.
• Create SEO-optimized marketing content and track results using Google Analytics.
• Market events, new products, and promotions through persuasive and compelling storytelling.
• Utilize excellent listening and critical thinking skills to translate sometimes complex or technical business concepts in writing and in a manner that is persuasive and digestible by target audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interacting with graphic design, sales, marketing, projects team, engineering, and other partner professionals and customers to deliver the best results.
• Champion brand standards and editorial style to ensure quality, consistency and alignment across our communications channels and marketing assets.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning.
• Create digital content to enhance brand visibility, generate leads and support sales closing activity.
• Develop innovative marketing campaigns and pitch new content creation concepts.
• Produce high quality work products in terms of messaging, accuracy, content, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Collect and provide LinkedIn, website, and other digital marketing content to the corporate marketing department to promote Environmental Specialties in the marketplace.
• Plan, coordinate and attend marketing outreach programs (golf tournament, giveaways, tradeshows, industry conferences, lunch & learns, etc.) as required.
• Oversee photography shoots (planning and coordination) and management of projects and staff images.
• Support other marketing, communications, and sales administration tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications.
• Previous experience at an engineering or construction firm preferred.
• Previous experience with market-based research, Google Analytics, social media, promotional activities, sales collateral development and marketing communication.
• Proficiency with software and digital marketing tools, which may include Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as new platforms when adopted.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills that calibrate copy to the audience, medium and style format.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking and processing skills to distill sometimes complicated business, technical or scientific concepts for mainstream communication.
• High comfort level with ability to identify needs without direction and performing duties independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
