About the position

The Marketing Coordinator role at Alta Hospitals (Southern California Hospitals, Los Angeles Community Hospitals) supports marketing and communications activities for both new and existing hospital services to achieve strategic growth and improve the health and wellbeing of those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Support web technical marketing including price transparency/compliance, links headers, new page builds, footers, analytics and content development for marketing campaigns including websites news, web articles, advertisements, email marketing, and social media.
  • Develop, implement, track and optimize all marketing tactics including traditional; digital, SEO and SEM; Google Analytics, AB/testing, and social media, to ensure effectiveness.
  • Utilize market research to identify trends and opportunities and utilization of AI technologies.
  • Support Marketing technology platforms including Optimizely, Yext, Yelp, Google My Business, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and others, as needed.
  • Work with freelancers/vendors as needed to coordinate web services.
  • In collaboration with the VP Business Development and Director of Marketing and Communications, work with representatives in all entities from clinical/medical/surgical departments and administration to implement marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Prepare and modify routine/non-routine and internal/external correspondence, memos, documents, reports, meeting notices, and presentations in appropriate formats using word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, web platforms, etc.
  • Support cross-functional communications to keep both short and long-term initiatives moving according to schedule.
  • Assist with digital design, video, and multimedia production.
  • Use analytics to provide measurement and ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three to five years of marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills/abilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare Marketing or Marketing Technology Experience
