About the position

We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. You'll collaborate across departments, coordinate content and campaigns, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and on brand. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, digital advertising, and print.
  • Be the main internal point-of-contact for employees who need marketing support.
  • Manage the marketing content calendar, ensuring deadlines are met for all initiatives.
  • Assist in creating, editing, and proofreading marketing materials such as emails, social posts, website copy, and collateral.
  • Support event planning and execution, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Monitor events within the city, including large venue events and track these events on social media platforms.
  • Monitor and compile reports on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, ensuring brand consistency across materials.
  • Maintain and organize marketing library of all collateral, campaigns, and archive.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media tools, apps, and emerging trends.
  • Monitor new platforms, apps, and technologies that are gaining traction, assessing their potential for marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants to ensure cohesive messaging and effective brand communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing support role (internships count!).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
