About the position

The position involves overseeing the day-to-day office operations of the Marketing department. The individual will assist the Marketing Manager with the coordination of all casino event projects and oversee citywide event on-call and temporary staffing and scheduling against the established event calendar. Additional responsibilities include assisting and coordinating various property/marketing functions assigned, creating presentations, and preparing for meetings as needed. The role requires maintaining and developing relationships with internal departments and external vendors, providing assistance to internal and external customers in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials. Compliance with Responsible Gaming guidelines outlined by Caesars Entertainment and completion of annual refresher modules is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Two years of previous experience in Casino, Marketing, or Special Events.
  • Ability to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills.
  • Heavy clerical and guest service level experience.
  • Computer literate with software systems including IMB, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, APS, and AS400 systems.
  • Must be flexible to work any day of the week and any shift, and long hours when necessary.
  • Minimum 21 years of age and able to obtain a Virginia Gaming License.
