The Marketing Coordinator helps us tell that story online, in your inbox, on social, and everywhere in between. We re looking for someone who s part marketer, part project juggler, part content nerd. You ve got strong opinions about fonts, captions, and email subject lines. You get fired up by a well-organized spreadsheet. And you know how to take a big idea and make it work on a small screen. This role helps drive Yakima s marketing engine forward; especially across social media, email campaigns, product launches, and digital content, and grassroots activations.

Responsibilities

  • Run our social channels like a pro. Post, schedule, reply, repeat while keeping it on-brand and scroll-stopping.
  • Write clean, punchy content for email, web, and social.
  • Help plan and execute consumer and trade events. Coordinate logistics, prep assets, and keep things running smoothly onsite.
  • Assist in ambassador and community management efforts. Communicate with partners, support content collection, and amplify their stories.
  • Provide support for grassroots and guerilla marketing efforts.
  • Support product launches, promos, and seasonal campaigns by keeping projects organized and assets moving.
  • Plan and execute giveaways, sweepstakes, and other ways to give the people what they want (free stuff).
  • Help with email campaign creation, from idea to inbox, and pull the data to see what worked and what didn t.
  • Execute and support digital marketing efforts, including paid social campaigns, SEO basics, and traffic-driving tactics.
  • Coordinate across teams so no one's left guessing what s due and when.
  • Track budgets and help with invoices.
  • Jump in on photo/video shoots, prepping samples and helping with logistics.
  • Bring ideas to the table, ask good questions, and make us all a little better every day.

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or something similar.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related role.
  • Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for tone, especially in digital formats.
  • Comfortable with social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiar with email marketing platforms and how to track what s performing.
  • Organized enough to manage multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
  • A team player with a no-ego, all-hands-on-deck attitude.
  • Some Adobe Creative Suite knowledge and general familiarity with file types and formats.
  • Willing to learn, take feedback, and keep things moving forward.
