About the position

Random House Children's Books, a division of Penguin Random House, seeks a Designer to join the Marketing Design Team. As a Designer, you will help build on our current successes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Together with your colleagues in the marketing, publicity, cover art, and editorial departments, you will bring to life standout campaigns for our best-selling books, series, and brands like Hilo, Grumpy Monkey, Wonder, and more! Random House Children's Books is the world's largest English-language children's trade book publisher. We create books for toddlers through young adult readers, in all formats from board books to activity books to picture books, novels, graphic novels, and nonfiction. The imprints of Random House Children's Books bring together award-winning authors and illustrators, world-famous franchise characters, and multimillion-copy series. Reporting to the Art Director, the ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic designer with strong organizational and time management skills. The Designer will simultaneously manage motion graphic projects and digital content to support marketing efforts across web, social, and email platforms, as well as printed promotional collateral, point-of-purchase (POP) displays and signage. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and genres in the children's book industry.
