About the position

This role is accountable for driving overall marketing strategy and tactical execution to support business growth for our U.S. Spray Foam business unit in the Holcim Building Envelope Division. Responsible for leading brand management, new product launches, content planning and activation, paid media, annual and promotional channel programming, customer insights, marketing communications and partners heavily with other shared marketing teams on digital marketing, public relations, product management and events/tradeshow execution.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for marketing planning and execution of tactics for Spray Foam to obtain P&L, volume, and market share objectives.
  • Organize marketing activities around segmentation, the greatest return for spend, and obtaining growth and/or maintaining operating profit and market share in a highly competitive environment.
  • Develop the Focus Areas for Marketing and KPI's for Spray Foam for the Annual Planning Process in collaboration with Leadership and Product Management.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the landscape of the Spray Foam business and identify opportunities for increased demand and market expansion.
  • Build a strong brand for U.S spray foam and cultivate brand building activities to increase unaided brand awareness and consideration over time.
  • Develop and maintain a strong content and sales enablement plan to support thought leadership/insights and the sales process for spray foam.
  • Maintain and refine the Spray Foam value proposition and the relative messaging in the marketplace.
  • Align programming of customer and distribution channels to drive growth for the Spray Foam and measure success and return of all Holcim programming.
  • Align closely on growth strategies with sales leadership and build and maintain strategic partnerships with Field Sales Reps, Sales Managers, and Strategic Account Managers to assess market needs and opportunities for the business.
  • Drive Organization Alignment around critical Industry Relationships and Trade Show participation for Holcim to drive business critical issues and opportunities.
  • Be the voice and ear of marketing for the Spray Foam business.
  • Develop deep insights into the current market environment, competition, Industry Issues and opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, or Business-related field.
  • MBA highly preferred.
  • Total professional experience 10+ years.
  • Experience managing people/agencies within a marketing department or business unit preferred.
  • Ability to operate in matrix structure and with a degree of ambiguity.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues.
  • Demonstrate both creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to derive insight and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
