The On-Call Events Team Member (TM) is responsible for supporting and assisting in all tasks and activities of events, banquets and promotions, working with the Marketing Team to provide excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
Provides the highest level of guest service by greeting guests individually with a positive, pleasant and cheerful demeanor.
Responds quickly and courteously to guest's needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and or action.
Processes coupons and enters coupon codes in Patron during promotional events.
Responsible for the set up and break down of various events and functions.
Assists in building stages, arranging chairs, tables, decorations and other event or promotional features.
Sets dining tables for multi-course service and buffet events.
Serves food and beverages, ensuring quality of product being presented to guests.
If eligible, provides bartending services during events and banquets as assigned.
Assists with inventory tracking, counting and sorting linen, polishing glassware and cutlery.
Welcomes guests while receiving tickets, providing special care to guests with special requests and/or needs.
Monitors the audience during performances to assure an undisturbed atmosphere for both artists and guests.
Works as usher as assigned, aiding guests on exiting the building in case of an emergency.
Monitors crowd for unusual behavior, flash photography and/or video cameras.
Maintains awareness of, and effectively communicate to other Team Members, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs.
Other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
Must have an OLCC Permit at time of hire.
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by TRCR's insurance agency.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in serving beverages, multi-course meals and buffet events is preferred.
