About the position

Our team is seeking a Marketing Insights Researcher to support the Global Audience Marketing (GAM) team of the Business Marketing Group (BMG). We are looking for a strategic thought leader who can translate audience understanding into strategic implications for BMG leadership. In this role, you will lead efforts to understand the audience landscape by designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research, with a focus on the ecosystem of large advertisers and agencies. You will translate the findings on audience needs and preferences to identify strategic opportunities, influence the group's strategic direction, inform the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives, and measure the impact of these marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the learning agendas for the audience ecosystem of large advertisers and agencies to inform strategy development and to support progress on business goals
  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research to support decision-making, strategic planning and shape marketing strategies, campaign development, product development, retail/channel strategy
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights with clear recommendations producing highly effective communication that motivates people to apply learnings in marketing and across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, scope, deliverables and goals

Requirements

  • 6+ years of research experience
  • High degree of qualitative and quantitative research expertise, with the capacity to apply them in a business context to drive decision-making and raise salience of new opportunities
  • Proven expertise in shaping insights-driven marketing campaigns and product launches from definition to execution, with a focus on shaping strategy, driving alignment, and delivering business outcomes
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, identifying strategic problems to solve, setting priorities, and driving learning agendas with minimal guidance
  • Experience influencing, and providing direction to cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, sales, product, and creative to execute and evaluate marketing campaigns
  • 7+ years research experience
  • 3+ years experience working in the digital advertising landscape and specifically with Meta's suite of advertising and measurement products
