We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world global Marketing environment while assisting with various tasks and projects. You will work closely and learn from experienced marketing professionals, have the potential for career development & networking within the company while contributing to the overall success of the department. We will offer opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as you demonstrate eagerness and the ability to learn and adapt. This summer internship has the potential to transition into a year-round co-op position, contingent upon job performance and approval from your college.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the development and execution of digital media (social media, email, website, YouTube, etc.)
- Research social media channels
- Creating and managing social media content calendars
- Drafting & posting of publications with images
- Updating CRM system
- Update and maintain internal SharePoint sites
- Assist with website management
- Assisting with global event planning and logistics
- Create, inventory and develop all digital and physical branding and promotional assets
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Research promotional giveaways, establish relationships with vendors
- Assist with digital file share management
- Driving to/from vendors/plants/sites to pick up/drop off various items
- Domestic & international shipment of parts, demonstrators and other various assets
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Coordinate the daily operations of the Marketing team
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in the Marketing/Business field
- Ability to quickly learn and process information
- Organization and time management skills
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- An understanding of different marketing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of LinkedIn, Google Analytics
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Willingness to learn new marketing tools and platforms
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
