Marketing Intern

About the position

The Town of Lexington is seeking applications for an Economic Development Intern with a passion for marketing, graphic design, social media, collaboration, and creativity. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with Economic Development and Visitors Center Staff. We are looking for someone who is proactive and a self-starter who likes to keep busy.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics from templates
• Monitor and create content for social media platforms
• Design materials such as brochures
• Maintain and archive files and perform regular job file backup
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups and digital content
• Create graphics for merchandise

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• High-school or equivalent
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design software
