About the position

Emerald is seeking an Attendee Marketing Manager to join our team to support the Boutique Design hospitality brand, including the BDNY trade fair, BD Forum, and BD Match events. The Attendee Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of marketing plans to achieve attendance goals for these annual events. With a deep understanding of our brand and audience, this role will create and execute ROI-focused multichannel B2B campaigns. This collaboration-heavy role partners with the Senior Marketing Director and Vice President, Marketing to provide insights that influence the overall attendee marketing strategy. Much like our audience, the Marketing Manager should be a passionate creator who is data-driven, agile, and collaborative. A positive attitude and the ability to independently drive projects forward, meet deadlines, and raise work equally well across collaborative and independent work environments are essential to success, as well as excellent project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of bottom-up, ROI-focused multichannel B2B marketing campaigns that achieve audience goals by increasing brand awareness, registrations, and upgrades, nurturing prospects, and generating qualified net-new leads.
  • Conceptualize, execute, and manage automated email nurturing programs to increase event registration and brand engagement.
  • Execute and manage nurture campaigns across various marketing channels including PPC marketing, email, partnerships, social media, cross-promotions, print advertising, direct mail, and others.
  • Collaborate with internal editorial teams to create endemic social media campaigns that increase awareness, drive registrations, and engage the community.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and visual integrated reports from multiple sources to continuously inform marketing strategy and recap marketing campaign performance.
  • Manage post-registration attendee communications for onboarding, additional promotions, and event logistics to ensure ongoing customer success.
  • Support message development and optimization at the event and brand level.
  • Collaborate with internal registration team to develop website framework, provide assets for buildout, and test website before launch to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal digital teams to manage the framework for brand matchmaking platforms, including mobile app buildout.

Requirements

  • Experience building, automating, executing, and analyzing performance of email campaigns. Hubspot experience is a plus.
  • Experience building, scheduling, executing, and analyzing social and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Experience creating and managing marketing collateral, including copywriting, website layout and copy, and leveraging editorial content.
  • Experience defining and translating data into actionable insights that influence marketing strategy.
  • Creative mindset with a history of conceiving new and innovative campaigns.
  • Proactive work style that demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and identify potential challenges.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate internally with sales, editorial, operations, conference, and registration teams, as well as externally with clients, vendors, and partners.
