You will serve as the main marketing contact for over 20 brands, developing a keen understanding of their business, priorities, and products. This role involves advising senior marketing leaders on strategic and tactical levels, optimizing programs using Sephora's marketing levers, and building collaborative marketing programs.

  • Develop a keen understanding of the brands' business, priorities, and products.
  • Navigate conversations with and advise senior-most marketing leaders in the brands' organizations on both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Advise brands on how to win at Sephora from a marketing standpoint, including sampling strategy, social media strategy, paid media advertising, and consumer messaging to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives.
  • For select brands with limited marketing means, advise on general marketing strategy and the best use of the brand's marketing resources, inside and outside of Sephora.

  • Analyze and report on Sephora and brand ROI for collaborative marketing programs and sampling investments. Utilize data to make recommendations to deliver win-wins for both the brands and Sephora.

  • Serve as a mentor and role-model to junior team members and cross-functional partners, even if there is no direct reporting relationship.
  • Demonstrate Sephora Values: Passion, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect, Teamwork, and Initiative.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in marketing and/or brand management; agency, retail, and/or beauty industry experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team.
  • Passion for Sephora, its programs, clients, store associates, and marketing.
