One last thing: Our four-day week continues in Summer 2025! The Marketing Manager role ensures that 300+ sales reps and account managers are informed, confident, and prepared to sell and retain. Acting as the operational link between Marketing and the Dealer Business Unit, this person manages internal sales communications, coordinates training initiatives, and maintains internal sales content. They bring content to life through smart delivery, thoughtful timing, and a deep understanding of how CARFAX reps operate and learn. This position will require 3 days a week in our Centreville office subject to change with future business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategy to ensure timely, relevant information flow to sales reps.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the sales experience within the marketing team, ensuring a deep understanding and effective advocacy for the rep perspective.
  • Own the collection and analysis of sales rep feedback to strategically shape communication, training, and enablement programs, fostering seamless collaboration between both teams.
  • Manage and optimize content organization in various sales platforms for easy access and usage. Analyze, measure and audit materials on a regular cadence. Present recommendations and action plans to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Director of Revenue Enablement to develop, execute, and refine communication and enablement strategies that align with sales and retention goals and drive overall revenue growth.
  • Utilize a metrics-based approach to develop and implement sales enablement strategies, consistently evaluate impact and optimize programs to ensure they drive measurable improvements.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating logistics, developing engaging content, and facilitating seamless pre and post event experience for sales kickoff meetings.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years in sales enablement, sales communications, or sales ops in a B2B environment.
  • Experienced presenting and interacting at an executive level.
  • Strong understanding of how field and inside sales teams operate day-to-day.
  • Skilled at organizing training programs, managing stakeholders, and simplifying messaging.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with sales enablement platforms or portals and CRM tools.
  • Comfortable presenting, running meetings, and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Willing to travel ~2-4 times per year for sales meetings and events.
