About the position

Gainwell is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the development of persuasive, product-centric content that supports our marketing initiatives. This individual will play a key role in translating complex healthcare and technology concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with public health and Medicaid decision-makers. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Communications & Content Marketing and can be based in the Greater Dallas Area or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content that supports product marketing strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with content, communications, and product marketing teams to tailor messaging for specific markets and audiences.
  • Translate technical product details into benefits-driven, accessible content for healthcare and government stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on thought leadership efforts and content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery across platforms.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on data and SEO best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience creating product-focused marketing content, preferably in healthcare, public sector, or tech industries.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated success working with product marketing teams to align messaging.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare public sector marketing is a strong plus.
