Responsibilities

  • Leads implementation, evaluation, and measurement of corporate marketing initiatives.
  • Creates brand strategy and positive perception of PCL in the marketplace through strategic storytelling.
  • Fronts market and marketing research to align marketing strategy, develop plan and achieve goals.
  • Provides superior editing and proofreading services. Reviews content for sensitivities.
  • Coaches and leads a team of collaborative marketing professionals in development and execution of the corporate marketing strategy.
  • Uses superior understanding of external markets and demographics to develop and maintain strong customer focus.
  • Oversees the planning and execution of unique and engaging events and facilitates buy-in at the leadership level to ensure successful completion.
  • Translates complex corporate and executive strategies and industry knowledge into meaningful and accessible information.
  • Collaborate on and produce innovative marketing collateral that leverages PCL branding and influences perceptions of targeted audiences.
  • Direct supervision of one or more marketing employees.
  • Advanced networking skills and strategically connects with relevant external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud and other specialized software as required.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proactive, results-oriented with a capacity to manage and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Exceptional knowledge of and ability to manage strategic implementation of all marketing mediums, including web, print, advertising, video, and social media.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
