About the position

The Marketing Manager (MM) is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the brand positioning, revenue growth, reputation and guest engagement for our resort. This individual will oversee all marketing initiatives including brand strategy, digital marketing, PR, partnerships, sales collateral, social media, and guest communications, ensuring alignment with the resort's standards and business goals. This role demands a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market. This role will work directly with operations (with an emphasis on programming, culinary and branding), sales, and other executives to align vision, set strategic goals and achieve results for the resort.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with each department and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives within each department.
  • Lead the development and evolution of the brand including visual identity, brand voice, strategic partners, events and programming.
  • Ensure the successful use, implementation, and continued evolution of technology, systems and programs that will contribute to revenue growth, streamline sales/marketing and operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, public relations, and traditional advertising.
  • Support the resort in the development and management of their annual marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Enhance brand visibility and reputation through public relations, partnerships, and promotional events.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Execute marketing tactics including content capture, social media postings, email creation, collateral development, website maintenance, and departmental support.
  • Ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints by working directly with each department.
  • Gather and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service offerings and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Must live within 1-2 hours from resort.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media public relations, programming, and emerging marketing trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficient with graphic design is greatly valued.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
