Responsibilities

  • Shipping, auditing, and restocking marketing material products.
  • Processing incoming and returned orders for products within the business day.
  • Scheduling show, cadaver and demo sets to ensure lab/tradeshow coverage.
  • Ensuring show, cadaver, and demo sets are returned promptly after event.
  • Tracking shipped orders and resolving late shipments.
  • Notifying accounting to bill for lost/damaged equipment.
  • Auditing inventory and replenishing missing equipment from marketing material equipment.
  • Determining appropriate pricing, terms and shipping method for products.
  • Resolving issues with customers concerning order status, credit and shipping problems.
  • Working closely with event teams regarding shipping for large tradeshows.
  • Fulfilling literature and other requests for information.
  • Initiating, maintaining, and compiling records associated with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials.
  • Comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, and other listed information on packing slips.
  • Compiling information on receipt of disbursement of marketing material equipment.
  • Reconciling shipping and pack list discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Preparing all necessary shipping documentation and ensuring that shipments are tracked.
  • Packaging materials and equipment ensuring that shipping documentation is accurate.
  • Determining most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation.
  • Initiating investigations into causes of misdirected shipments, damage or shortages.
  • Performing duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations.
  • Assisting in the development of processes and procedures for inventory, receiving, shipping, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Maintaining physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
  • Supporting cross functionally including Lab Manager, Medical Education Admin/Coordinators, Commercial, Events, Marketing, and Sales team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED plus 2-year related distribution or inventory control experience.
  • Familiar with medical device industry, specifically foot and ankle is ideal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Organized and attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors and team members.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with phone, email and in person interactions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
