About the position

The position involves a variety of administrative functions, research and analysis, budget bookkeeping, promotional items management, media relations, social media management, and website content updates. The candidate will be responsible for distributing and managing marketing materials, supporting branch inquiries, and providing event administrative support. They will also conduct research on market trends and client behavior, manage invoices and purchase orders for marketing-related expenses, and log budget-related data. Additionally, the role includes managing social media accounts, updating website content, and ensuring compliance with the bank's security program.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute and manage marketing materials (posters, flyers) for branches.
  • Support branches with inquiries.
  • Create shipping labels for sending marketing materials.
  • Provide administrative support for events.
  • Understand compliance approval procedures and support in requesting compliance approval for marketing needs.
  • Maintain record keeping via electronic filing (shared drive).
  • Work with Compliance to route marketing content for approval for print and online deliverables.
  • Conduct research on market trends, client behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Perform opportunity analysis using recent industry trends and best practices.
  • Source merchandise, including comparison of pricing and quality.
  • Create and manage invoices and POs for marketing-related expenses.
  • Log all budget-related data and update the Marketing Budget Tracker.
  • Log branch orders and communicate with vendors regarding promotional items.
  • Research new promotional items and submit recommendations.
  • Research news articles related to the bank and create 'In the News' emails.
  • Translate articles/newsletter/customer communications.
  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and oversee post content.
  • Respond to inquiries/comments/DMs from users with compliant responses.
  • Research content ideas and strategies to leverage engagement among platforms.
  • Update/edit website content via CMS.
  • Update branch location information via CMS & Yext.
  • Comply with the Bank's security program and report suspicious activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a marketing coordinator, banking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience using data analytics software for research.
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns and client response (website and social media).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, design, and email software.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and client relationship management (CRM).
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintains physical and digital filing systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 + bonus + benefits.
