The position serves as a representative of Resorts Casino Hotel, engaging with customers in various settings including the hotel, casino, boardwalk, and special events. The primary responsibilities include collecting data via a tablet, creating new player accounts, and explaining the Star Card Club program to potential members. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries about property details, events, promotions, and dining options. As a Marketing Operations Representative at the Promotions Booth, the individual will issue complimentary amenities based on player activity, distribute promotional prizes, and maintain accurate records of promotional materials. The position requires a strong focus on customer service, problem resolution, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Engage, greet, and interact with customers to collect data and create new player accounts.
  • Explain the Star Card Club program to non-card holders and encourage them to join.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding property information, events, promotions, and dining.
  • Issue complimentary amenities based on player activity and distribute promotional prizes.
  • Create new player accounts and replacement cards.
  • Introduce and inform guests about the Resorts Players Club on the casino floor.
  • Issue PIN numbers for guest accounts and promotional coupons.
  • Work promotional games, birthday parties, and other events with enthusiasm.
  • Maintain accurate coin coupon banks and issue Bus Group Leader coin coupons.
  • Greets and dispatches buses, and manage dollar value coupons.
  • Keep abreast of current promotions and special event procedures.
  • Resolve guest problems and complaints, escalating to management as necessary.
  • Manage the acceptance, inventory, assignment, and reconciliation of coupons.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating all aspects of special events and promotions.
  • Promote positive public relations and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in promotions and special events.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Outstanding oral communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and outgoing personality.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
