About the position

WonderWorks is looking for a dynamic person to join our team as a Marketing Project Coordinator. This role is instrumental in creating memorable experiences for our guests at our indoor amusement park, which combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits. The Marketing Project Coordinator will assist with Sales & Marketing initiatives and support the corporate team as well as team members on property as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales and marketing team to implement programs and promotions
  • Manage special projects as assigned
  • Assist with guest inquiries and generate sales leads
  • Research and write educational content as needed
  • Assist with social media ideas, content creation and posting across all platforms
  • Provide support for the corporate staff (phone, mail, supplies, etc.)
  • Support recruitment efforts across properties as needed
  • Plan employee appreciation activities & update bulletin
  • Complete operations research and organizational tasks
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Manage corporate vendors
  • Support Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate teams as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management & multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Proven Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Cold-calling experience preferred
  • CRM experience preferred
  • High school diploma required

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Previous hospitality or themed entertainment experience is preferred
