About the position

As a Marketing Specialist - CRM Direct Mail, you will execute the day-to-day operations of the Ace Rewards direct mail channel. This role will collaborate proactively with internal teams - including Creative Services, IT, Finance, Consumer Marketing and external partners such as vendors and retailers to deliver error-free mailers to our Ace Rewards members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Ace Marketing Manager (AMM) in day-to-day management of the direct mail (100M+/year) creative and print process for Ace Rewards mailers.
  • Contribute to the planning campaign strategy, writing creative briefs, refining creative, obtaining final approval and proofing creative and barcodes to ensure final piece is error-free.
  • Responsible for execution of any assigned campaigns that may include but not limited to: Targeted Offer, Earned Rewards, Birthday, New Member, New Mover and Premier.
  • Work with AMM to plan and execute direct mail tests for program refinement.
  • Responsible for barcode management and spreadsheet, new requests to Promosystems, Creation of direct mail Promo ID's and direct mail portion of monthly Execution Guide.
  • Manage Ace Rewards Exclusives and other Promotions that flow through the direct mail channel.
  • Complete monthly billing functions for the direct mail channel which includes pulling costs from various locations and entering into our internal tracking spreadsheet.
  • Assist with Ace Rewards signage inventory including new member applications/key fobs on Ace Marketing Muscle.
  • Update creative as necessary as the program changes throughout the year following the Brand Guidelines for Consumer Marketing.
  • Help with monthly reporting content for direct mail campaigns, vendor meetings and ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Respond to internal and external (Care Center/Retailers/Consumers/Field/etc) Ace Rewards questions.
  • Support team with any ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Advertising or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Marketing or Customer Service Experience - creative/design/branding experience a plus.
  • Attention to detail is a critical trait to be successful in this role.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced and very fluid environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other team members/departments and retailers.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Previous direct mail experience a plus; but not required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
