About the position

The Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will provide project management support on several critical company initiatives throughout the year. These include high-profile industry event series, print publications and digital communications. Working in a collaborative environment, the Marketing Specialist will effectively interact across all levels of the organization while also taking proactive ownership of project management and creative elements of each initiative. This position requires an office-based presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain marketing initiatives calendar of annual events including CS Talks, CS Fall Preview and CS Summer in the City.
  • Proactively establish and undertake project managerial responsibilities related to each initiative with a strong sense of sequential thinking and action items.
  • Help design creative assets.
  • Develop marketing plans, programs, timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and collect creative for bi-annual Corcoran Sunshine publication, The Digest, as well as relevant sections of Corcoran publication, Properties for Living.
  • Solicit and compile material for monthly Instagram features.
  • Supervise the performance of all marketing initiatives and provide data and analysis-based recommendations.
  • Obtain sign-offs and approvals for all portfolio initiatives.
  • Maintain content and design accuracy of company website, working with web developers on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the maintenance of proprietary industry lists and e-communication.
  • Regularly assist in the planning and execution of development events, generating content for social media, as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of marketing and/or project management experience preferred in luxury marketing, media, architecture, design, fine art or real estate
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Real Estate Salesperson's license required (can be obtained during first year with the company)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to both handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities and to interact effectively with diverse personalities across a hierarchical spectrum in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook required
  • Proficiency with social media platform management, including Instagram and LinkedIn required
