As a Senior Marketing Specialist for our Civil Infrastructure Division in the Tampa, FL office, you will contribute to our Marketing Team.

Responsibilities

• Writing and producing innovative and compelling marketing collateral, leveraging PCL branding to showcase projects, people, or service solutions to support business development in collaboration with internal leadership, marketing, and graphics team.
• Creating marketing plans and leading marketing campaigns, ensuring they have or strive to attain measurable results.
• Identifying opportunities for PCL to be thought leaders to speak at conferences and events or be featured in articles for publications or professional organizations in digital or print.
• Writing clear and concise project descriptions and other material as needed to promote the firm.
• Using interviewing skills to compile necessary information to support writing activities (ie., interview subject matter experts for an article or a project manager to write a strong project description).
• Strong understanding of storytelling and journalistic writing.
• Identifying and leading content development for project or staff award submittals.
• Assisting or leading the writing for abstracts that are submitted for presentations to professional organizations or other opportunities (articles for a publication for example).
• Developing content for presentations.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in a marketing role.
• Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals and best practices, digital communications, social media strategies and marketing campaign and execution.
• CPSM or other professional designation a plus.
• Experience with construction, engineering, or architecture a plus.
• Some knowledge of the construction business (construction processes, delivery models) a plus.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, and visual) skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent team player with ability to lead, mentor, and be mentored.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus.
• Self-directed, results-oriented with an ability to handle tight deadlines and excel under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

• CPSM or other professional designation.
• Experience with construction, engineering, or architecture.
• Experience in Adobe InDesign.
