Responsibilities

  • Develop, update and own the master marketing calendar for both Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, ensuring all disciplines are working in concert to effectively and efficiently target our guest.
  • Work closely with our media agency and creative teams to develop, traffic and monitor performance of media creative across the purchase funnel.
  • Lead digital asset management, owning the consolidation of our digital creative assets into one central repository, allowing for easy access across marketing disciplines to relevant creative assets.
  • Support the development of engagement campaigns and activities targeting our Pass Members, focused on driving an increase in visitation frequency.
  • Own the weekly email calendar for both Busch Gardens Tampa and Adventure Island, briefing the CRM team and ensuring the most effective messages are being delivered to the right audiences at the right time.
  • Actively participate in cross functional consumer event campaign brainstorming, experience ideation & marketing planning.
  • Coordinate creative productions happening in our parks, managing timelines, securing approvals, working with internal creative teams and external agencies to ensure production is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the Promotions team to ensure parks are securing maximum value add for our media buys.
  • Flex when necessary to support our PR, Sales, Events, Social, Creative and Digital Guest Experience teams in efforts to drive attendance to our parks.
  • Build relationships with guests, annual pass holder communities, influencers and the community as a whole.
  • Report out on community KPIs while strategizing ways to scale our communities and connect with new guests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or related subject or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in marketing, tourism, hospitality industry.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to drive business.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Able to manage a high volume of large-scale projects on varying timelines.
  • Robust client relationship development & negotiation skillset.
  • Commitment to collaboration and working effectively as part of team.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to interpret data and translate into action.
  • Acute eye for detail and strong communication skills a must.
