As a Marketing and business development specialist at Floor Coverings International, you are key to the growth and expansion of the local franchise. Your success will allow for more proposals to be written.
Responsibilities
- Develop trust with customers by living our Core Values all day and every day.
- Create raving fans by providing extra-mile service.
- Convert leads to appointments by scheduling appointments for the sales team.
- Follow up on open proposals as needed.
- Assist in the development, management & delivery of local marketing tactics.
- Ensure customers feel cared for by providing extra-mile service by going above and beyond expectations.
- Strengthen emotional connections with customers and the community by engaging in the community and making it fun!
- Support and participate in home shows.
- Support and implement local marketing efforts as needed.
- Seek to create new relationships with realtors, builders, and property managers.
- Attend local connection groups to enhance and develop business connections within the surrounding communities.
- Attend weekly meetings with the owner at scheduled times.
- Work weekly and monthly to meet goals.
- Be available to attend training seminars at the owner’s discretion.
- Make decisions and act in accordance with Floor Coverings International's core values and mission.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Able to work independently without supervision.
