The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Strategy team by assisting with tradeshow coordination, managing print-on-demand platforms, monitoring promotional inventory, and helping create marketing materials. This role also contributes to advertising efforts, coordinates promotional items, and provides other general marketing support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination of tradeshow activities, including lead systems, booth setup, legal vetting, coordination, and vendor management.
  • Assist with planning and executing state-level tradeshows and events as assigned.
  • Help maintain and update the annual tradeshow calendar for all Business Units.
  • Create and update all cost snapshots for tradeshows and relevant events.
  • Process invoices and expense reports; assist with tracking the overall Marketing budget.
  • Help enroll dealers and distributors into company programs and distribute program materials as needed.
  • Assist with managing the Print-on-Demand platform, ensuring inventory is available and orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Help maintain the FE Gear website, including vendor management, cost effectiveness, and research of new ways to keep inventory fresh and creative.
  • Support planning and logistics for internal company events as needed.
  • Represent Franklin Electric through appropriate, effective, and consistent presence in all marketing activities, internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications, journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • One to three years of relevant experience in marketing, business communications, public relations, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Suite and computer based productivity tools required.
  • Content Management System: Ability to learn and navigate for website management.
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the calendar year attending industry tradeshows, customer events, and company meetings.
