About the position

Fol-Da-Tank is the leader, and originator, of portable water storage tanks; our products give first responders the ability to have water where, and when, they need it. The products we manufacture are utilized to save lives and communities; what we do matters. We are an agile company with passionate employees that firmly believe what they do is essential. Whether manufacturing a Fol-Da-Tank needed by a volunteer Fire Department to be able to deploy a truck to an emergency house call, or manufacturing a self-supporting tank needed by the Forestry Service to combat a raging wildfire threatening a community, we are purpose-driven to perform; minutes, even seconds, can be critical.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the business by developing and implementing strategic market action plans to drive distributor performance.
  • Create annual budgets and sales goals, achieving revenue and gross profit goals.
  • Execute sales by being an expert in our products and confidently using them to solve customer’s problems.
  • Develop and oversee social media promotional products and tools.
  • Provide oversight for projects primarily driven by contracted marketing professionals.
  • Manage and optimize website content and SEO.
  • Create digital and print content.
  • Develop deep market knowledge of contacts, costs, competition, and outside market drivers.
  • Forecast margin expectations by market and product.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a strategic vision that cultivates thriving business relationships with firefighting equipment distributors.
  • Develop business plans to profitably grow into adjacent market channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a marketing or business administration related field.
  • At least 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience in a manufactured product or service is preferred.
  • Excellent customer presence and an ability to continuously learn about the markets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills.
  • Must think strategically.
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent marketing and sales skills for manufactured products or fire-fighting equipment.
  • Must be a good communicator, self-motivated, and can multi-task.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical concepts and read technical drawings and information.
  • Must be able to resolve conflict and close deals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate clearly (regularly talk and hear), read at a distance and close to eyes with or without correction.
