About the position

The Marketing Specialist (The Specialist) supports the Marketing Services Department priorities by directing various hospital projects, in coordination with the region's Regional Marketing Manager (RMM). The Specialist works directly with the RMMs to ensure hospital requests are in alignment with the overall Company and hospital strategic goals and hospital marketing budgets. The Specialist will work closely with the video, project management and events team to oversee various activities related to hospital and tradeshow events and hospital videos. The Specialist works with the RMMs on media campaign documentation training for the markets. Additionally, the Specialist works with the full Marketing Services leadership team to develop hospital success reports, in coordination with the RMM. The Specialist provides other support to the RMMs and PMs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manages sponsorship requests and deliverable development in each region in collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers.
  • Provides media buy documentation training and support with markets engaged in media buying.
  • Develops holistic Marketing Services reports of paid and organic work in each market.
  • Oversees essential hospital marketing requests in coordination with the Regional Marketing Manager.
  • Supports hospital ground breakings, grand openings, national tradeshows, and hospital video tours.
  • Reviews marketing materials for quality assurance.
  • Performs other marketing duties as assigned.
  • Keeps work area and equipment in pristine condition at all times.
  • Understands and utilizes company resources where appropriate.
  • Networks with co-workers to share best practices.
  • Develops strategies and aligns work to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, mass communications or journalism required.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
