The Marketing Strategist will develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include conducting competitor and industry analyses, optimizing campaign performance, managing marketing projects, and collaborating with sales on enablement tools. The role involves drafting creative briefs, supporting paid media and promotional efforts, communicating centralized marketing updates, and exploring new channels. The strategist will also manage budgets, foster internal and vendor relationships, and deliver insights to improve marketing efficiency and results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to meet business objectives, including customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Develop framework for and execute a comprehensive competitor analysis quarterly.
  • Develop and execute annual analysis of industry trends and consumer insights with actionable insights.
  • Partner with sales to determine necessary sales enablement support tools are available.
  • Lead project management of marketing campaigns, including coordinating timelines, deliverables, and field communication.
  • Write media and creative briefs to support community marketing campaigns and agency collaboration.
  • Support the planning and evaluation of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison for sister companies, identifying needs and assigning tasks to internal or external teams.
  • Develop and distribute communications to keep Cedarhurst communities informed about centralized marketing efforts.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop and execute resident retention strategies.
  • Assist in various marketing efforts, including paid media campaigns, event support, and other promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the Community Marketing Director to identify and explore new marketing channels and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors to support seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and track new development budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing strategy, paid media, brief writing, and/or marketing project management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Excellent writing skills, with experience creating clear and actionable briefs.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards for accuracy and consistency.
