About the position

Affinaquest seeks a Media and Marketing Operations Manager. A successful candidate is a detail-oriented Media and Marketing Operations Manager with a passion for higher education and collegiate athletics. This role will manage various marketing technology platforms for content and communications, implement strategic B2B marketing campaigns, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will be expected to execute day-to-day marketing operations, including content scheduling, campaign management, and performance tracking across multiple platforms. Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day marketing operations, including content scheduling, campaign management, and performance tracking across multiple platforms.
  • Design and develop engaging content using Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) while maintaining and potentially expanding upon Affinaquest brand standards.
  • Maintain and update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Manage and monitor social media channels, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and manage CRM initiatives through Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Generate marketing analytics reports to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and client management, to align messaging and strategy.
  • Support event planning, webinars, and digital campaigns.
  • Stay informed on collegiate athletics trends, industry news, and marketing best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience or internship within higher-education, collegiate athletics marketing, sports marketing, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Understanding of multiple marketing technology platforms, with the ability to manage content and communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Hands-on graphic design experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing, communications, and CRM platforms including but not limited to WordPress, Salesforce, Notion and HubSpot.
  • Strong familiarity with social media marketing platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, social media advertising).
  • Basic video editing skills.
