About the position

Performs laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools. Assumes responsibility for department operations as needed. Performs and completes laboratory tests and quality checks according to standard operating policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical or biological science or Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution
  • ASCP or AMT certification required
  • Certification eligible applicants with ASCP or AMT may be considered with proof of eligibility prior to date of employment
  • Certification for eligible employees shall be acquired within one year from date of hire
  • Certification must remain current for continued employment
