About the position

The Manager of Marketing and Public Relations develops and implements marketing strategies based on an evaluation of medical center goals and priorities along with opportunities in the marketplace. This high performing team member will be responsible for engaging with hospital leadership teams and providing recurring updates for ongoing programs and campaign performance. Coordinates and executes strategies across departments – ensuring alignment with priorities of medical centers and System.

Responsibilities

  • Provides input to and serves as a resource to North Texas Marketing Director related to local branding, service line strategies and other initiatives.
  • Coordinates with North Texas Marketing Director, along with peers in the region, in developing and implementing short term and long-term marketing strategies to meet the business priorities of medical centers.
  • Develops, coordinates and implements specific local branding and community relations strategies.
  • Utilizes data and analytics resources to assess results of marketing campaigns and recommend adjustments to improve results.
  • Participates in administrative and physician meetings, director meetings and other hospital and System meetings to maintain visibility and effectively convey department and System priorities and activities.
  • Performs other marketing-related duties as assigned.
  • Onsite presence to assist with news media activities in collaboration with the PR team.
  • Leads the development, creation and review of marketing materials as needed by clinical and marketing teams.
  • Ensures the mission, vision and values of BSWH are incorporated into all activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing and public relations.
