As a Nonprofit Strategist (Sr)/Sales Product Specialist (Sr) within PNC's Institutional Asset Management organization, you will be based in one of the following markets: [Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN]. This position requires travel.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with nonprofit client/prospect to assess business needs and identify product/service recommendations.
  • Advises Sales team in the development of significant/complex sales opportunities, including proposals, presentations, and the closing of the opportunities.
  • Works with the Sales team in the qualification and prioritization of pipeline and sales opportunities targeting largest and most complex opportunities.
  • Completes diagnosis of client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews, research, tools development and modeling.
  • Consults with the client/prospect to assess complex and highest value business opportunities and develops tailored solutions using PNC capabilities.
  • Serves as liaison with the market service teams.
  • Create and/or deliver thought leadership and education internally and externally in-person and in virtual forums.
  • Serve as a coach to develop more junior members of the Nonprofit Strategy and Solutions Group at PNC Institutional Asset Management.
  • Serve as proxy for the Managing Director of the Nonprofit Strategy and Solutions Group of Institutional Asset Management when necessary.

Requirements

  • Sales experience and track record of success
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal partners
  • Strong finance background (education and experience)
  • Bachelors and/or Masters in Finance
  • Finance experience
  • Understanding of Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) engagements
  • Knowledge of philanthropy and the related gift planning vehicles
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Confident public speaker and facilitator
  • Ability to travel up to 40-50% of the time during peak seasons
