About the position

As the Office Marketing Manager at Floor Coverings International, you will be an essential part of our team, driving business operations and enhancing the customer experience behind the scenes. You'll act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure complete satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, outstanding multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail to uphold our high standards, and exceptional communication skills. You will also be responsible for supporting business growth through the ability to use marketing tactics to increase lead generation. Overall, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive, efficient office environment that contributes to the success and expansion of our franchise.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and manage lead appointments for the sales team, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Assist in executing local marketing tactics to generate leads and drive customer engagement including social media.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including partnerships, referrals, and sponsorships, to drive revenue and expand the business.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and participating in home shows, vendor events, and other community events to promote the business and generate leads.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional showroom and office environment.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review new sales and current projects.
  • Experience with QuickBooks for accurate and timely data entry is a plus.
  • Maintain up-to-date job status and manage daily office operations.
  • Consistently strive for a 5/5 star rating, maintaining exceptional service standards throughout the customer journey.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office/production/operations management; knowledge of the flooring industry is a significant asset, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of managing phone and in-person interactions effectively.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Able to work without supervision, anticipate needs, and make decisions confidently.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling, tracking, and project management (Salesforce, Outlook, Google Suite, Excel, etc).
  • Experience in coordinating projects and maintaining workflow efficiency.
