Responsibilities
- Expand the open-source ecosystem and enhance accessibility of computer vision for developers.
- Build upon existing Roboflow projects and create new ones that address gaps in the ecosystem.
- Shape project roadmaps based on personal experiences and user feedback.
- Write code, create documentation, and promote projects to the community.
- Engage with contributors and users to understand their needs and challenges.
- Develop technical content and demos to showcase open-source projects.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate open-source projects into the core Roboflow product.
- Participate actively in relevant online communities and promote open-source projects through various channels.
Requirements
- Proficient in Git, Python, PyTorch, Docker, OpenCV, NumPy, GitHub Actions, PyPI, and Linux.
- Experience in building and leading open-source projects.
- Strong track record of shipping software projects with fast adoption.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Background in computer science or a related field.
- Ability to write clean code in Python and JavaScript.
- Interest in computer vision, machine learning, and developer tooling.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of JavaScript, OpenVINO, TensorRT, TFjs, TensorFlow, ONNX, and CUDA.
- Experience with Roboflow or similar tools.
