Paid Marketing Internship

About the position

The Gund Company is seeking a full-time Marketing intern starting immediately. The Marketing Intern will help the Marketing and Business Development team with research, website support, and other marketing activities. The internship is expected to last up to six months and offers a starting hourly wage of $20+. Work hours are from 9-5 M-F, with flexibility to accommodate school schedules. The Gund Company is a manufacturer and fabricator of engineered material solutions specializing in customized electrical insulation parts, with a reputation for outstanding customer service and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marketing Manager with daily production and creative tasks
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather market intelligence
• Maintain databases and organize research materials
• Research and identify potential leads and industry contacts
• Assist with trade show research to support our sales team
• Conduct competitor analysis and draft reports with data

Requirements

• Excellent software skills, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in internet research and data compilation
• Excellent decision-making and advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Basic understanding of marketing concepts
• Ability to think creatively when developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal team members to develop or refine designs
