Requirements

  • Experience in family law or personal injury law, with at least one year in a paralegal role.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite to ensure seamless document management.
  • Ability to draft and file legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of managing attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong research skills to conduct thorough legal research and provide valuable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally and empathetically.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in preparing and coordinating depositions, ensuring witnesses are well-prepared and informed is a plus.
  • Experience with Apple computers is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, ensuring all documents and evidence are meticulously organized.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage and maintain attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and provide valuable insights to the legal team.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of depositions, ensuring witnesses are well-prepared and informed.
  • Provide critical support during court proceedings, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, offering updates and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
