The Office Partner Marketing team is looking for talented and passionate professional interested in growing the partner channel for SharePoint and the Office 365 cloud services business. In just a few short years, Office 365 has built a multibillion-dollar ecosystem, winning fans in enterprises, mid-market and small business to move their critical workloads to the cloud. Partners play a pivotal role in assisting customers bring their mission critical activities from traditional on premises installations to hybrid and full cloud deployments. With the launch of SharePoint 2016 and latest generation of SharePoint Online customers are receiving some of the most exciting product innovation in SharePoint?s history. The partner opportunities for this latest generation product are incredibly exciting and we are looking for an individual to drive the strategy and execution to build the partner network, drive sales activation and ensure technical readiness.
This role resides within the partner strategy and communications team which defines partner solutions and opportunities around Office 365 and advanced workloads, including SharePoint. The group focuses on communicating the economic value of our ecosystem, assisting partners understand the business model, driving sales readiness/excellence and building technical capacity within the partner network.
This role requires a combination of skills spanning technical and business advocacy around the Office 365 ecosystem, SharePoint and related products. A successful candidate must have extremely strong communications skills, business acumen, technical understanding of Office 365 and SharePoint, licensing knowledge and understanding of partner ecosystems.
Specific skills we are looking for include?
Product knowledge around Microsoft cloud platforms, Office 365, SharePoint and OneDrive for Business.
Passion around advocating partner needs for Independent Software Vendors (ISV), System Integrators (SI) and solution resellers.
Communications abilities and willingness to represent Microsoft in a variety of high profile environments with Microsoft customer and partners.
Programmatic and scalable approach to reaching hundreds of partners around the world
Strong cross team collaboration skills, ability to work across technical and marketing disciplines and data centric mindset.
Leadership by example, ability to drive measurable results, and willingness to work in a highly agile environment.
Bachelors of Science in a technical discipline. MBA or Masters Degree preferred.
