About the position
Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity, the position involves delivering a variety of high-quality care and performing basic patient care that meets the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients. The individual is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence, adhering to the PH Standards of Behavior.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Nurse.
- Perform basic patient care that meets the needs of assigned patients.
- Adhere to the PH Standards of Behavior.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
Requirements
- Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
- If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, must be actively working towards it and receive within 2 years of hire.
- Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
- CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
- If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred, but not required.
Nice-to-haves
