About the position
The major function of this position is to dispense medications for patients upon receipt of a physician order. Additionally, the role involves providing drug information to the Medical Staff upon request and ensuring quality pharmaceutical services to both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications for patients upon receipt of a physician order.
- Provide drug information to the Medical Staff upon request.
- Provide quality pharmaceutical services to patients and staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of a College or School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
- Maintains licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey.
Nice-to-haves
- Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
