About the position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions are thrilled to announce the opportunity for dedicated and skilled professionals to apply for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher position for the upcoming academic year. This role involves working across various grade levels in our district to provide vital support and specialized education to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities

• Adapting and modifying curriculum materials.
• Conducting assessments to monitor progress.
• Delivering direct instruction tailored to each student's needs.
• Providing training and resources to staff to enhance student support.
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Facilitating effective communication among students, teachers, and families.

Requirements

• Georgia PEL endorsement for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related degree.
• Pass a background check and drug screening before the start of the assignment.
