Our business is growing significantly as the market demands reliable medical devices which look and feel more like consumer devices. We are looking for an experienced embedded software engineer and Bluetooth Low Energy expert who can help us continue to make our products more connected and responsive to patient’s needs. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
- Determines systems software design requirements.
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
- Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
- May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.
Requirements
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
