Responsibilities

  • Guide the product roadmap for Federal HR Solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and scrum teams.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for product areas spanning Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Time & Scheduling, Recruiting, Payroll and other Talent Management areas.
  • Set priorities and build detailed requirements documentation in partnership with other Workday functional and technical product authorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the U.S. Federal market.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management or related experience.
  • 5+ years of HCM and Payroll knowledge and expertise (HCM Core, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting).
  • 3+ years of experience with federal HR systems currently offered by Shared Service Providers (e.g. HR Connect, EmpowHR, FPPS, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Security Clearance (TS-SCI w/ poly) Preferred.
  • Knowledge of Title V, OPM Regulations, DOD Requirements, GPPA, and the Human Capital Business Reference Model and Human Capital Information Model.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex HR requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences including the federal government agencies.
  • Knowledge of unique human capital business practices in the intelligence community.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Skilled in time, priority, and task management.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, resolve ambiguity, and take decisive action.
  • Self-starter and leader that can get things done within a cross-functional matrixed environment.
