Principal Product Manager (US Federal)

Responsibilities

• Support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government.
• Serve as the subject matter authority in U.S. Federal Human Resources.
• Guide the product roadmap and collaborate closely with customers and scrum teams.
• Work with Workday's Industry Strategy team and oCHRO Product Management leadership.
• Set priorities and create detailed requirements documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the U.S. Federal market.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management or related experience.
• 5+ years of experience with HCM and Payroll products (HCM Core, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting).
• Possess a valid and active TS/SCI with CI POLY security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with federal HR systems currently offered by Shared Service Providers (e.g., HR Connect, EmpowHR, FPPS).
• Knowledge of Title V, OPM Regulations, DOD Requirements, GPPA, and the Human Capital Business Reference Model and Human Capital Information Model.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated HR requirements into actionable product specifications.
• Knowledge of unique human capital business practices in the intelligence community.
